This podcast crossed many timezones to have the honor of interviewing the team behind one of Battlebots' deadliest vertical spinners - DeathRoll. It absolutely dominated in 2019 and is now back for World Championship VII with the severed arm and all. I talked to Steven and Glen about their robot's journey back and how the season has fared so far, plus what may be to come in the future for the croc bot that is going to clean your clock.

BattleBots Breakdown WCVII Ep. 4&5 on Outside of the Box (Ep.63)

There was a LOT to unpack from Episodes 4 and 5 including a bunch of robots who are dominating despite struggling in the past including Claw Viper and Fusion who nearly beat Witch Doctor. We also talk a little about the controversy-filled matchup between MadCatter and Riptide. **Also a note that I called "Double Tap" by a similar robot name "Double Jeopardy". I know they are different robots, but I am going to blame the cold medicine for that one. Enjoy!

Emulsifier’s Matt Bores on Outside of the Box (Ep. 61)

Emulsifer had a big year in 2022 being selected for World Championship VII of BattleBots with their 250lb version and also winning the NHRL Championship at the December Finals with the 30lb version. We talked a little bit about both robots including their first match vs Fusion and how underdog rookies can sometimes have an advantage coming into BattleBots.
